Piscina Beach

Rocco Delucci Foto:SamecIt's located north on the Piura region. It is known with this name (pool beach) because the shape of the wave is so perfect that looks like an artificially created wave; it almost looks like those sketched waves on your high school note-books. The wave starts out with a small size and when advances it gets bigger until it hits 6 perfect foots faces. This wave is perfect for kids who want to be amazed with great tubs. The bottom is all sand and the trajectory is of 30 to 40 meters long.

Aspects on favor of surfing in Peru - Why surfing in Perú is so cool!
In our country the coast is shark free, none of our beaches has a shark problem. It has never been reported a shark attack to a surfer, something that frequently happens in Australia, South Africa, Hawaii, Florida and, in less degree, in California. The ocean's temperature is also adequate, and it varies according to the seasons along the year. In general it is necessary to use a neoprene wetsuit, but never anyone that surfed the Peruvian waves has being able to say that the cold water kept them from surfing.
