Señoritas Beach

Señoritas and Caballeros are located in the same bay, one next to the other, and approximately 44 km south of Lima, as part of the Punta Hermosa Beach town district. It is a super fun tubular left, braking on a rocky shallow ground. The waves are usually fast, with vertical walls, and not with a very long ride. The best seasons for this wave are summer and spring, especially between February and May. You can surf Señoritas from 3 to 10 foot, needing boards from 6 to 6'8. You can reach Señoritas from Lima in a 25 minutes car ride along the Panamericana Sur freeway, and you will find around the beach many restaurants and Surf Camps.

Aspects on favor of surfing in Peru - Why surfing in Perú is so cool!
In our country the coast is shark free, none of our beaches has a shark problem. It has never been reported a shark attack to a surfer, something that frequently happens in Australia, South Africa, Hawaii, Florida and, in less degree, in California. The ocean's temperature is also adequate, and it varies according to the seasons along the year. In general it is necessary to use a neoprene wetsuit, but never anyone that surfed the Peruvian waves has being able to say that the cold water kept them from surfing.
